When was the last time you felt rested as a new mom? After my third child, it dawned on me, just how exhausted I really was. I clearly remember being pregnant with my fourth child, with three more under 6 and knowing I had not slept well in years. That day I committed to making sleep a priority. If it meant arranging a more equal partnership with my husband for the morning routine, taking turns on weekend mornings or getting a carpool, I did what I had to do, to get more sleep each day. What ideas do you have to find more time to sleep and ideas to get to sleep faster? I love listening to meditation music to help me unplug more quickly and sleep more deeply. Now with my fifth child, I have finally been able to immediately ensure that I get some sleep and my recovery has been transformed because of it.
