Breakfast on any fitness regime is critical to good choices all ay long. Last year I lived with an oatmeal obsession. I ate every kind of oatmeal for breakfast including those delicious overnight varieties.
Just like in life, change in your breakfasts habits is essential. So I have been changing it up to eggs and vegetables in the mornings for the last 2 months. I love easy to make ahead egg cups for busy days and an herb and onion omelet and salad for leisurely mornings.
Now that I am halfway through my month of all yoga, I am feeling that need for more protein and more fast paced workouts. You know the grass is always greener, right. So how do you stick out, each 30 day program?
I focus on how I feel at the end. I know that one month of any program is transformative, I will be forever more flexible and better at controlling my breathing after giving it a daily 30 minute focus for one month. The same was true when I got tired of each program in week three. I was tired of only cardio by week 3 of country heat, and tired of weights after 21 day fix. How do I push through? I know that in week 4 nostalgia hits. I have finally mastered the exercises, and I can enjoy every one and be a little sad that its almost over. That is where I appreciate how I have gotten stronger, or more fit or more flexible and then its time to tray something new or revisit an old favorite and stretch my capabilities all over again.
That's the secret to a long term passionate relationship with your body, keep it fresh and challenging and you will never get bored of how amazing the human body can be. My next challenge is 21 day fix! I invite you to chat with me about your goals and if this coming group which begins Jan 29 is right for you.
