How can you affirm your choices more often?
Every time you go on the scale affirm yourself, right then.
If you got nothing but compliments every time you stepped on the scale would it be so scary?
What if the going on was the action that is praiseworthy and not the number alone? What if the affirmation- the getting on, the eating well, eating nourishing delicious food got affirmed every time you went on the scale? Then what could that look like everyday.
How can you compliment yourself each day on your body, your choices???
Affirmation must be more than in your head. Here is where a gratitude journal is a great tool. It affirms in writing what you want to build in your subconscious brain. We are focused on health, nutrition and body love here so make sure to compliment those behaviours, like your workout, or any positive changes at all, no matter how small.
Think this makes you self centered… NO! Treat others as you treat yourself. If you are not great at complimenting others around you, then it might reflect a lack of compliments internally. So look for things to compliment in yourself and you will see things to compliment in others as well.
