Have you heard of #minimalism? I had vaguely heard about some crazy people living with nothing. Or like tiny houses with one shirt and skirt. But no. This is true care and appreciation and love for what you have. It is also removing from your life things that just take up space. Things that own you and don't bring you joy.
Its a journey I'm on and I'm making slow progress following accounts like @minimalistmomlife @theminimalmom and @thetransformationproject. They inspired me to play the #minsgame this April and I'm going to try it again in may to keep going releasing things that hold me back in my life.
I have one problem though. When I make progress toward a goal I tend to backslide and reconquer that goal so many times, again and again. Because I know I can do it, because it is comfortable.
I'm going to stop that habit. I'm doing it by adding a little nutrition challenge for may to the mix so I avoid my usual spring downfall. Lots of carbs and cheese. You struggle with carby melty cheese too?
