I often make things too much work for myself. I am so skeptical of things that are simple and easy.
In fact, I made that mistake so many times in running my business and in my own weight loss journey. The biggest transformation I know I have had is stopping the skepticism.
I had to say it does not need to be hard. In fact, it should get easier and more fun. The longer I believed that it needs a to be a burden the longer I held on to the excuses to wait for a better time or just quit without going all in.
This is so embarrassing to me. But I had to come clean with my own 80+ clients and apologize. I over complicated how fast they could lose the weight and move on with their lives.
Guess what happened? The second I stopped giving them an out, the it's gong to be hard, but you can do it. It's going to require you show up to a weekly call and in the group and with a success partner. They starting losing more and more weight weight a month and were so excited to share and ask on the weekly calls, to reach out to the group and get a success partner.
The second I became open about our struggle with too much stuff, to much time wasted of cleaning and maintaining things or feeling like a failure, because I was not doing those things... I saw it could be easy and fun to change. Now 10 people have started the #minsgamechallenge and are already feeling lighter in their spirit and happier in their home. I am not telling you this to brag. I am telling you this to stop waiting for the perfect time, because it is going to be hard. I did that for 16 years.
I tried and failed to do a #veganchallenge for 30 days for 8 years. I always would get stuck at milk in my coffee, eggs in my challah, what about a birthday? Not anymore 10 days down and more to go. No struggle. Almond milk in my coffee, it's fine, I got used to it. Challah? I got great sourdough bread slices for shabbat. Was it always this easy? It's all mindset.
