HI! It is Bat mitzva day! Yet, that does not mean I am too busy to eat. It means the fuel I choose is going to impact my experience of this important day.
That's a mindset menu planning reset. I'm never to busy to plan or prepare, choosing to not have a plan or prepare is choosing to not fuel ourselves for success.
Preparation is not only cooking ahead, or chopping veggies ahead.
Preparation does not have to look the same day to day
Preparation does not mean never eating out
Preparation does not mean even cooking or chopping, if you don't want it to.
Planning and Prep Now called P&P, is about owning your decision. Making a choice is the only power we have in this world. We choose what to eat, we choose how to react to the world and people around us. The only thing we control is our own choice. Even which emotions to feel is a choice!
P&P can be making the same salad once to eat all week in individualized instagram worthy boxes
P&P can also be making quinoa pasta, defrosting frozen veggies and eating eggs all week.
P&P can be looking up and circling items that fit your healthy needs and every local take out place in your area.
P&P can be buying only trader Joe's Salad mixes, pre made dressings, fruit, ezikiel low carb bread and frozen vegetables and supplement with frozen food from Amy's kitchen.
For me having shakeology is a non negotiable part of planning and preparing, the packets are a perfect source of vegan protein, fiber and nutrients. They stay in my purse and bag so I never get stuck without food in an emergency, I just shake it up with water.
But honestly it goes beyond that. The deeper impact of the daily dose of superfood nutrition makes me more consistent in choosing to manage my emotions, choose what to eat overall, manage my cravings and make the choice to keep choosing good things for myself and my family.
