PostPartum Healthy Recipes CrockPot Chicken


CROCKPOT BALSAMIC SHREDDED CHICKEN save extras to freeze in 1 cup conatiners

(From our passover e-course)


1.5 kilo or more boneless skinless chicken thighs

1/2 Cup soy sauce vinegar low sodium

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

8-10 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed

3 bay leaves

1/2 teaspoon whole black peppercorns

1/4 Cup honey

2 Tablespoons potato starch

lime juice for topping (can swap lemon)



Add all of the ingredients excpet the chicken to a sauce pan and simmer until thickened 2-3 minutes

Pour over chicken in the crock pot and cook on high for 3-4 hours

Strain the sauce and shred the chicken add more sauce as desired.

You can also prep this and freeze in advance.
