Italian Sea Bass


This fish is a light and healthy way to introduce parve foods and balance the heavy holiday meals. 



3 Fillets sea bass defrosted/ fresh

1 tablespoon Olive oil

Juice and zest of 1 Lemon's + 1 lemon sliced

1/4 cup golden raisins

4 stalks fresh thyme

coarse salt

Red pepper flakes



1. Heat the olive oil in a pan and add the lemon zest, juice and raisins .

2. Salt and sprinkle a little pepper on the fish.  

3. Place the thyme and lemon slices in the sauce and the fish fillets on top.

4. Cover and steam for 5-7 minutes on low simmer until the fish is firm to the touch.
