Pesach Charoset




10 Apples - A mixture of red and green apples

1 Block Pitted Dates

1/2 Cup Almonds/Walnuts chopped or 1/4 Cup Ground Almonds

1 Cup Sweet Red Wine (can also use a sweet fizzy red wine)

Zest of 1 Orange

Juice of 1/2 Orange

1 teaspoon Cinnamon 

Pinch of Salt




Wash and grate the apples, with the peel into a large bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and combine. It is best to make this the day before in order to allow the flavors to develop.
