
Chia Green Breakfast Smoothie
Ingredients
2 cups cold water
2 handfuls spinach
1 kale leaf
1/2 medium English cucumber
Sliced1/2 apple, chopped and not cored/seeded/peeled
2 tbsp chia seeds
1/2 lemon, juiced
Directions
In a blender, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. If using a regular blender it is best to add the ingredients in the order listedabove and press "pulse" on and off to get the blending process started.
Storing instructions:
It is best you consume the smoothie right away but since that doesn't work out, keep leftovers in the fridge. Or freeze as ice pops with some extra fruit juice!
