Date Peanut Butter Chocolate Balls

 

Ingredients

2 Cups Pitted Dates (1 block of 500g) 

1 Cup Natural Peanut Butter

A pinch of Himalayan Sea Salt

1/4 Cup of Ground Flax (can substitute with ground almonds)

1/8 Cup Cocoa Powder 

1/8 Cup 60% Chocolate Chips

1/4 Cup Salted Peanuts 

 

Preparation

1. Take the salted peanuts, remove the majority of the skins and pulse in a blender to meal. Do not over blend as it will become peanut butter. Set aside in a small bowl. 

 

2. Take the remaining ingredients and mix together. It is really important to really work the ingredients to form a dough so that all the ingredients are blended properly. 

 

3. Take a small amount of the dough and form into a ball. Take the bll and lightly roll it into the peanut meal to coat. Repeat with the remaining mixture. You will very likely have ground peanuts left over. Put these into a container for the next batch.
